We are excited to share the news about a new practitioner who will be joining our clinic this month. His name is Kyle Stunden and he is a chiropractor. Kyle grew up in Langley and pursued his education in Toronto where he graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He could not stay away for from his native province for too long and eventually returned to open a practice in the Lower Mainland.
‘We are lucky to have access to many different types of sports and outdoor activities within a few hours of the city in all directions,’ he says. When not in the office or serving his native community as a paramedic, Kyle spends times with friends and family enjoying many activities. He heads to the mountains for skiing and hiking, plays hockey, and takes part in triathlons. When work or sports are not on the schedule, he makes time for a hands-on creative outlet: woodworking.
Choosing to become a chiropractor was the result of positive influences. Kyle explains ‘As many people in the area of physical medicine I had a positive experience working with a chiropractor at a young age and aspired to become one myself to assist those in my community.’
Kyle’s particular interest in collaborative patient care steered him towards joining our team. ‘I chose MaxFit because I was looking for a team-based atmosphere where we could get individuals back to their life interests fast and effectively,’ he says. ‘The practitioners at MaxFit have a reputation for great team-based care in the management of their clients.’
A new beginning means new learning but for Kyle, ongoing education is a key component in providing the best patient care. As a resident of the College of Chiropractic Orthopaedic Specialists, Kyle embraces this journey that will allow him to ‘assist clients in managing their aches and pains and working as a team with the other MaxFit practitioners for a common goal of patient care.’
Kyle’s life philosophy is derived from Nelson Mandela’s inspiring words: ‘It always seems impossible until it is done,’ which is both suitable and empowering. Welcome to the MaxFit team, Kyle Stunden!
