Opening the doors to a business is more than painting walls, decorating and hanging up the open sign. Opening a business, aside from delivering trustworthy services, means committing to being part of the community and honouring it by establishing connections with the people.
Since being founded in 1998, MaxFit Movement Institute has been able to maintain its core philosophy principles. MaxFit was conceived to be more than a therapy and wellness clinic, which as valuable as that is, it represents but a facet of what we offer to the community.
MaxFit is committed to be a place where people come for help, but also to be inspired to add movement to their everyday life and meet other people in the community.
Our institute and its founder, Dr. Wilbour Kelsick, have been recently acknowledged by the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce by being nominated in the 2015 Business Excellence Awards. MaxFit Institute was recognized in the Business of the Year category, while Dr. Kelsick was nominated in two categories: Community Spirit Award and Business Leader of the Year.
Needless to say, we are honoured and humbled by the nominations, while also realizing that nominations like these – whether we win or not – come with the commitment to continue to deliver excellent services and inspire good things in the community.
Also, we could not assume the credit for the nominations to be ours entirely. At MaxFit we are, as our core beliefs state, only as successful as our clients are happy. The fact that we made the cut is a congratulatory message from the community and at the same time, our promise to keep going.
Thank you, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody, as well as all our Lower Mainland clients for your trust and continuous support!
Thank you to our wonderful and skilled staff. In truth, MaxFit couldn’t have achieved this without you!
