A Community Based Running Program to help you run elastically and injury free
MaxFit Movement Institute is proud to offer a new, first-ever community based running program. This completely free 12-week program will gradually build your running skill from a run-walk format to being able to run a full 10K without injury and with efficient form.
Best of all, it’s completely free of charge!
The 12 sessions happen Thursdays at 6:30PM starting September 4, 2025. Meet at MaxFit Movement Institute in Port Moody.
The program is ideal for those who are new to running. It will build your consistency to make you a well rounded runner with proper technique to avoid injury now and in the future. You’ll receive expert guidance, and you’ll stay safe by being part of a group. It’s also a great way to return to running following an injury or just being away from runs for a long period. You’ll learn injury prevention techniques, make new friends, and learn to run while using less energy as you increase your fitness level and performance.
