Our focus at MaxFit Movement Institute is to get you back to your activities and goals by relying on functional and sport specific rehabilitation.

How do we do that?

  1. We have a series of weights and other rehabilitation equipment that you will commonly find in use by our chiropractors and physiotherapists as part of your rehabilitation program. By offering a variety of rehabilitation equipment, we can modify exercise difficulty and tailor its application to sports or daily tasks so that each of our clients can achieve best results.
  2. We also focus on functional rehabilitation: this involves more complex movements and tasks. We meet our clients where they are (say you have been mostly employing simple tasks such as walking or jogging) and help them move towards more dynamic tasks such as ladder drills or other sports specific activities in preparation for your return to activity.

Who is this useful for? If you have lower back injuries, neck pain, are in post-surgical rehabilitation including hip replacement and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction – we can design a rehabilitation program to help you get back to your best form.
